MCR Pathways is a Scottish, school based mentoring programme supporting those in or on the edges of the care-system to realise their full potential through education.

MCR Pathways works in all Glasgow’s secondary schools and in schools in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Edinburgh, North Ayrshire, South Lanarkshire and West Dunbartonshire. The programme supports almost 2,000 young people each week. MCR supports them to find, grow and use their own talents and skills.

They are currently looking for Mentors, aged 21 and over, to support a young person as their mentor through the Young Scottish Talent programme. Mentors meet with their young person for one hour per week, during school time, and they ask that mentors give at least a one year commitment to mentoring, ideally two. MCR works with all 30 secondary schools throughout Glasgow and in other parts of Scotland, so there are loads of young people who could use your help. #BeTheBridge between a young person's talent and possibilities in life!
