Imran Khan Cancer Appeal (IKCA) helps run the only cancer hospital in Pakistan, which offers free cancer treatment to patients who can’t afford it.

Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH) was established in 1994. Since then, we’ve spent in excess of £307 million on providing free cancer care in Pakistan. Annually, at SKMCH, we are able to provide free cancer treatment to 75% of our patients. Other patients, depending on their financial situation, are offered subsidised treatment.

Last year, 13,213 new cancer patients were registered at SKMCH, from a total of 14,532 who were admitted;
We performed 17,424 surgeries;
We provided 73,283 radiotherapy treatments and 50,797 chemotherapy treatments.
