StrathMates

StrathMates is a new buddy programme run by Strath Union to help you settle into University and the city!

What is StrathMates?

StrathMates is a new initiative run by Strath Union to help you settle into University and life in Glasgow. It offers the opportunity to meet current Strathclyde students, hear their tips and tricks for student life and have a friendly face on campus during your first few weeks.

How does it work?

We'll match you with your buddy group using the interests you select in our match form. This will help you meet like-minded people and have a group of new students to spend time with alongside your StrathMates. The programme lasts for six weeks, but you never know, you could end up making friends for life!

Your StrathMates will organise meetups for your group. This can be things as simple as going for a walk around Glasgow Green or going for a coffee together. There will be some events and activities organised by the StrathMates team at Strath Union to take part in too.
