Independent Students' Union advice service delivering: Academic advice (appeals, disciplines, transfers, complaints, etc), Housing advice (tenancies, repairs, deposits, etc), Funding and Finance advice (student funding bodies, financial support, etc).
Learner Development Services offer practical advice and support to help students study and research more effectively. We do this through one-to-one consultations, in-class activities, drop-ins and self-access materials.

Offer a broad range of support to students with any disability, mental health and wellbeing related needs. This includes one-to-one assessments, counselling, psycho-educational and wellbeing group programmes and self help resources. Offer online CBT through SilverCloud and 24/7 support from Spectrum Life. Adjustments to learning, teaching and assessment and assistive technology provision, mentoring, study, personal, communication and notetaking support.

This on campus support service is open to students of all genders. If you have experienced sexual violence at any point in your life, are looking for information around consent or have any questions or concerns about something that has happened, you can access confidential specialist support through the Rosey Project. We also offer this support to friends and family members of survivors.
Spectrum.Life is a confidential in the moment support for university students. The service is available 24/7, 365 days a year covering numerous topics such as: Stress, Anxiety, Low mood, Financial worries, Loss & Grief, Relationship problems, Substance abuse issues and much more.
You can access through a confidential, freephone telephone line, an online chat function through the platform or by requesting a callback.
The Spectrum.Life platform includes access to fitness plans, recipes, and eLearning content related to remote working, sleep and mental health among other topics. In addition, you will have access to numerous health and wellbeing related rewards such as discounted Fitbit Fitness Trackers!

Home to over 50 student-led sports clubs with around 3,000 members, catering for all levels of ability - whether you're a complete beginner or seasoned athlete, we have something for you. Supporting 400+ club committee volunteers in developing and enhancing their employability skills. Organising some of the University's biggest events in the calendar, such as Glasgow Taxis Cup Inter-Varsity competition and the annual Sports Awards Ball. Coordinating the University's StrathActive programme, providing free social sport to students and staff.
Home to around 1,300 students each academic year, on-campus University managed accommodation. Based in the heart of Glasgow city centre, students are only minutes away from everything Scotland's biggest city has to offer. There are a variety of accommodation options to choose from and a dedicated Accommodation Services team on hand 24/7. Offering independent living with the support of accommodation services, signposting to wider wellbeing or academic services as required but often the first point of call for students living within accommodation in crisis.

The Library Nook is a calm & comfortable space in the heart of the Library, designed to allow staff and students to take some time out. The space includes colouring, crafts, books and puzzles. The Wellbeing Collection includes books and e-books, covering a range of topics designed to improve wellbeing. Help to access appropriate library services and support depending on individual requirements.

Drop-in/by appointment, non-judgemental listening and support service for people of all worldviews, faiths and beliefs. Safe space for social connection and sharing, celebration of faith, reflection, meditation, personal and spiritual exploration and learning, inclusion and development of community. Facilities include café, flexible seating area, multi-faith sacred space, seminar/meeting rooms for student groups and societies.
