Are you an international student coming to study at Strathclyde? Would you like to get advice from someone who's been through it all and knows Glasgow? Are you interested in making a friend before you even start your course?

If you answered yes to any of the questions, register for our International Buddy Programme!

The International Buddy Programme is a peer support system that connects current students (Mentors) to new international students (Buddies - that could be you!) to help you adjust to Strathclyde student life. Your Mentor will be the first point of contact before arrival and guide you through the challenging period of starting university in a new country.

Once you have registered your interest, you will be matched with a Mentor. You can talk to them about your worries, or share your excitement with them!

We do our best to pair you up according to your arrival date, degree, and common interests. All of our Mentors will receive training so that they can offer you the guidance you need.

If you're interested in being a part of the programme, fill in the Buddy Registration Form. Applications are open until 6 September.
