We want to extend our support to students from Bangladesh in the Strathclyde community following the recent protests and we stand in solidarity with our fellow students.

We condemn the deeply concerning violence directed towards students peacefully protesting for reforms to the quota system for government jobs.

Our thoughts are with any student who has been affected or whose loved ones have been affected by the unrest in Bangladesh.

We understand the great impact this may have on our Bangladeshi student community. If you feel that the current situation is impacting your wellbeing or studies, please reach out for support.
