We are seeking students proficient in any of the following languages:

 

English (for proofreading)

Mandarin

Hindi

Spanish

French

Arabic

Russian

Portuguese

Indonesian

Dutch

Italian

German

Polish

Turkish

 

All other languages are also encouraged to apply.

 

Proficiency in English is a prerequisite for all applicants.

 

You will engage in various online and occasional offline translation and interpretation projects.

 

While the tasks are not professional or academic, they must be suitable for a young audience.

 

This is a remote position, allowing you to work from home with flexible hours.

 

We utilize an AI verification system to ensure the integrity of translations. Any machine-generated translations, such as those from Google Translate, will result in non-payment. If you rely on such tools, please do not apply.

Person Specification-specific skills/experience required:

•             Proficiency in one or more of the specified languages

•             Excellent communication skills

•             Strong attention to detail

•             Ability to adapt content for a young audience

•             Punctuality and reliability in meeting deadlines

•             Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

•             Familiarity with online translation tools and resources (excluding machine translation like Google Translate)

•             Prior experience in translation, proofreading, or interpretation is a plus
