We are looking for two eco-conscious people to help us run a brand new Zero Waste Store in the Union! The Zero Waste store is a new project, aiming to provide the Strathclyde community with a more sustainable option to shop, as well as create meaningful job opportunities for students. This is a new endeavour for us, so we need people who are able to take the lead, as well as willing to learn and adapt with us.

This role is for you if you are up for a challenge, excited by problem-solving, showing initiative and trying new approaches, reliable and comfortable taking on responsibility, and as comfortable with numbers as you are with people! Crucially, you must also have an interest in environmental activism, sustainability and a passion for promoting lower-waste living.
You have experience leading teams – volunteering counts!
You have previous experience, and/or a good understanding of project management (if you have experience in retail, even better!)
You are adaptable, resilient and a quick learner
You are committed to maintaining a Zero Waste workplace.
You are passionate about environmentally sustainable products and business practices.
