What We Do
We run fun and friendly motorsport events which welcome motoring enthusiasts of all experience levels. All the equipment you need for a great day out on track will be provided and there will always be a friendly face on hand to offer you the support you need to get started.
The club takes part in a range of different motorsport disciplines. We regularly host Go Karting events, VR sim sessions and F1 watchalongs. We are always on the lookout for more motorsport events to involve ourselves in, so if you have an idea then please do not hesitate to let us know!
Who Can Join?
EVERYONE! Our club exsists to offer students access to competitive motorsport at an affordable price point. We encourage undergrads, masters, postgrads and graduates to come along and get involved. Remember - if you need financial support accessing our events, you can apply for the Strathclyde Participation Fund.
This year, we are also accepting students from any other university and college as a way to be as inclusive as possible! So if you have an interest in motosport and would like to join, please read the details about memberships below to get involved!
Where do I Sign Up?
Ready to join in the fun?! Don't delay, purchase a membership today! Buying a membership will allow you immediate access to all our events in 2023/24 - we promise it will be MORE than worth it! Memberships can be puchased on the bottom of this page. If you are a current student of Strathclyde Uni, please purchase "SUMRC Standard Membership". If you have graduated from uni or are a student from another university or college, please purchase "SUMRC Associate Membership".
