Xmas Contender 2018 - Fight Night

What better way to mark the end of exams than a night of fights, music and booze? 

Our annual Muay Thai showcase is back with a night full of back-to-back interclub bouts, where skilled fighters from Scottish Universities and local fight gyms will battle it out. Muay Thai is a rapidly growing sport due its high paced action, vicious strikes and in general... utter scenes - make sure you don't miss out on what promises to be a great night!

The show will be hosted by Vertigo as usual! Doors open @ 6.30pm, First fight @ 7pm.

The after party will be at Light - free entry before 12 with Xmas Contender wristbands.

Ticket Prices (includes free entry to after party) : £5 online, £7 at the door.

Students and Non-students welcome. We are expecting the event to be popular so make sure you get your tickets asap.

The Strathclyde University Foodbank Society will have a food collection point set up on the night so please bring along anything you can spare as Christmas is a critical time for foodbanks!
