Hi, I’m Frazer, and I’m running to be your PGR Science Faculty Rep!

I have a good track record in student advocacy, and hope to bring positive change to all those researching in the Science Faculty.

Previous experience:

• Served as a programme Rep on my previous course.
• Worked to reduce courseload and successfully had two classes removed from the CES course.
• I was awarded the Prof D G Smith Prize (2024) for these efforts.
• In 2022 I helped unionise my workplace.
• After winning recognition, I served members as a union rep from disciplinaries to flexible working, and annually negotiated pay with my employer.

My Plan:

• Collecting feedback, and delivering that to staff, whether positive or negative.
• Working on feedback given to create solutions to issues faced.
• I have heard already from across faculties that getting stipend payments on time in the first month of the year can be difficult. This is exactly the kind of problem I’d like to help solve.
