Hi! I'm Mya, an MBA student from Myanmar. Education is an investment and i'm here to help you get the most out your time at Strathclyde. 

Whether you are here to pivot your career, get into the C-suite, increase your job prospects or to expand your knowledge, I will amplify your needs to the faculty body. 

My main focuses as Student Rep would be to :

• Bring more networking events with alumni from all Departments  
• Connect students with career services for interview preparations, resume writing and job/internship openings  
• Campaign for more awareness of the support available for international/mature students. As an international/mature student myself, it is crucial that students are aware and able to access the support 
• More talks from experienced professionals for exposure to different work environments 

My experience? 

• LINKer (Leaders for International Networking and Knowledge) at James Madison University
• 6+ years of climbing the corporate ladder in the energy and research industry
