Experienced Student Rep

I am excited to stand as a candidate for Postgraduate Taught Rep for the Faculty of Science. Previously I served four years as an Undergrad Rep on the Student Committee at the University of Stirling, a role I loved.

Our time as postgraduate students is a journey and I am committed to ensuring that every student's voice is heard, respected, and represented.

My vision is to focus on three core principles: collaboration, inclusion, and support. First, I believe in fostering a strong, collaborative community where students from all disciplines can exchange ideas, network, and grow together. I will strive to bring us closer, encourage interdisciplinary research and support our peers across the university.

Second, inclusion is essential. I will work to ensure that every student, regardless of background, feels part of our community. I will advocate for equal opportunities, access to resources, and ensure underrepresented voices are at the heart of our discussions.

Finally, I will push for enhanced student support. From mental health services to career advice, I aim to improve access to essential resources that will help us succeed both academically and personally.

Together, we can create a vibrant, supportive environment where we thrive as students and individuals. Let’s make this an enriching and empowering experience for all.

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,

Francis Scott
