As a current MSc student in Applied Statistics at the University of Strathclyde and an active volunteer with Strath Union, I am excited to nominate myself for Faculty Representative of Science Postgraduate Taught students. With a strong foundation in data science, experience using advanced statistical tools, and a passion for problem-solving, I am committed to making a meaningful difference for our cohort.

My leadership experience, having managed teams and led projects in both academic and professional settings, equips me to represent your concerns effectively. As a member of Strath Union Team, I’ve gained insight into the challenges students face.

If elected, I will focus on three key areas:

Academic Support: Advocating for more resources like workshops and peer support systems to help students excel.
Stronger Communication: Establishing regular feedback channels to ensure students’ voices are heard and reflected in faculty decisions.
Mental Health and Well-being: Promoting better access to mental health services and creating awareness of support systems.
I am passionate about fostering collaboration, enhancing the learning experience, and ensuring our time at Strathclyde is both academically enriching and personally fulfilling.
