Disability is associated with all manner of limitation, and I have faced this extensively. My mission is to be an “Enabler” and I intend to do this by championing 3 things:

1. Equal Opportunity – This relates to ensuring there are structures within the University that do not propagate discrimination and that make disabled students feel enabled.
2. Empowerment – This will involve helping disabled students unleash their potential.
3. Educate – Other stakeholders (students and staff) ought to be educated on the needs of their disabled mates in order to create an inclusive and enabled environment.
